Here’s the main idea

jeff-sheldon-3224

The main idea of this blog was to document my bucket list and my fulfillment of it, the journey along the way, and what I learn throughout my experiences. I’ve researched on the internet about bucket lists, and have taken a few ideas from other people to add to my own list. What started out as a small project, has become a larger long term goal of mine to finish. I have a fairly big list that I’ve compiled over the last few days / weeks, and I don’t expect that to stop. However, I do think I have a decent start to it and it will help me organize my thoughts better by listing it here and categorizing it.

Now, along the way of me documenting my bucket list, I hope to entertain you all along the way with other topics of choice, whether it’s things going on in my real life that I am dealing with, reviews, etc. Nevertheless, I look forward to reading some of your comments and feedback. I would like to eventually engage with all my readers and get to know all of you that choose to follow along for the ride that we call life.

Now, here’s a taste of what is on my bucket list (which I had saved on my phone for future reference…) Keep in mind, this list is going to continue to grow.

Well, here I am…

Thanks to a friend, here I am.

I was talking to a friend of mine that I met at my old job, and how down I had become of late. He mentioned having a bucket list, and it sparked a light bulb in my head; perhaps I should create my own. Now, I’ve heard of people making bucket lists before, and I may have started some in my lifetime, but never took it seriously. This time around, I think I may take it a bit more seriously. So this brings my to my next topic: starting a blog.

Now, I’m no stranger from dabbling with websites and blogs for fun. I never took it seriously, or never stayed around long enough to watch anything grow and flourish. Here’s to hoping that this time around it’s different, it’s a bit more personalized, and now I have no excuses not to keep up with it. Before, my excuses consisted things like; I was too busy, not in the right mental or emotional state to keep up with one, etc. My writing isn’t the best, nor can I convey my ideas or words very well in writing, but it’s going to be a learning experience.

Seeing as how it’s almost the start of a new year and this this year is coming to a close, I’m excited to see what it holds for me in the future. I’m a little worried that it may be one of “those” ideas though. You know, those ideas people come up with, feel passionate about for a couple days, weeks, months, maybe even mere hours or minutes. There’s a possibility it could be one of those “new years resolutions” that never end up lasting more than a week or two. Let’s hope that it wasn’t anything mentioned above, at least I know I will have my fingers crossed for it. So, once again, thank you dear friend, for encouraging me and inspiring me to make my life a little more interesting. I’m still working on my bucket list to present, but I know one thing is for sure… making a blog is just one more thing I can mark off my list now.

To whoever is reading this blog in the very early stages of it, I hope you enjoy your time here. I hope that my readers find themselves coming back for more and that I hold your interest to some degree that sparks your curiosity, or inspires you to live life to your fullest and to go out and do things, or perhaps even make your own bucket list of your own. Sure, maybe bucket lists are over rated, but it wouldn’t hurt, seeing as how we all have limited time on this planet… why not try new things? Never know when you may never have the chance to do it later. Sometimes, in my occasional day dreaming, I worry things may happen. Bad things. But there’s no point to live in fear all the time, something I’ve grown to learn over the past few years. So here I am, hoping that I grow during this experience.

Here I am, internet.
